About GEDitCOM

GEDitCOM is a customizable genealogy application for the Macintosh. It was first released in 1998. In 2009, it was replaced by a completely rewritten application called GEDitCOM II. Anyone interested in the lastest genealogy application should visit the GEDitCOM II web site. This web site is maintained for Legacy uses of the previous verison of GEDitCOM. The final release was GEDitCOM 3.82.

• You should purchase GEDitCOM II if you are looking for a genealogy application. If for some reason you want the old GEDitCOM (the only reason being if you have an old Mac and no plans to upgrade), you can still Purchase a GEDitCOM license.
