GEDitCOM is a completely customizable genealogy application. Its' user interface is controlled by GEDitCOM Formats. The following table has downloads for GEDitCOM Formats that any GEDitCOM user can load into GEDitCOM and try out for new ways of browsing and editing GEDCOM genealogy files. These legacy formats work only in GEDitCOM 3.82 (or older) and do not work in the new GEDitCOM II.

You can use it to edit addresses in your GEDCOM genealogy files or to create
any address book, even for unrelated individuals. |

The starting point for writing your own customized
format. It has the basic structure of a GEDitCOM Format. You add
and edit templates to design your own genealogy interface. |

to the Blank Format to use when starting to write your own format. It is
better if you do not plan to use any of the preset features in the Blank
Format. |
