Check Source Quality Extension

It is essential to have good quality sources for your documented genealogy events. This extension looks at all sources for birth, death, marriage, baptism, christening, burial, and cremation events. It can look at "All" individuals in the file or only at the currently "Selected" individuals. If any of the above events are found for an individual, it checks the source for the event and outputs one the following options if improvements are recommended:

Event Name - no source
This result means the event is documented but it has no source. You can improve you records by finding a source.
Event Name - poor quality
This result means the event is sourced, but you indicated the source has poor quality. You can improve your records by finding a higher quality source for that event.
Event Name - undefined quality
This result means the event is sourced, but the Source's "quality" was not documented. You can improve your source information be assigning each source citation a "quality" rating. To set source citation quality in GEDitCOM II when using the "Default Format":
  1. Click the "i" icon in front of the source
  2. Choose the quality from the popup menu. Note that a setting of "Unknown" will trigger "undefined quality" result while a setting of "Unreliable" will trigger a "poor quality" result.

This extension works best if the family historian has identified the quality of each source, otherwise the report will return a lot of "undefined quality" results, even though sources are present and may be of high quality. The first time through the report, you can click links and set quality (as explained above). Thereafter this extension will help you achieve high quality sources for all you data.
